SAMPLE LETTERS In order for this campaign to succeed people need to make their opinions and desires known. The best way to do that is to write to everyone you can think of who may have even the slightest shred of interest. They will in turn write to others. And, who better to write to than members of the numismatic community? If you would like to send a letter, but are uncertain of how to format it or what to say, then you may find one of the following samples helpful. I highly recommend you modify whichever one you choose to use just a little to make it more personal. The samples are all text files so that you can copy and use what ever sections you like. SAMPLE 1 - Letter to the President and Vice President that includes changing the law. SAMPLE 2 - Letter to the President and Vice President that does not include changing the law. SAMPLE 3 - Letter to Congressional representative that includes changing the law. SAMPLE 4 - Letter to Congressional representative that does not include changing the law. SAMPLE 5 - Letter to the President or Vice President in response to the GAO report. SAMPLE 5 - Letter to a Representative or Senator in response to the GAO report. |
